I've never been a big horse fan, whether racing or otherwise. When I lived in Detroit, I went to the local racetrack and bet on the Kentucky Derby simulcast, which was pretty cool. To this day, I normally watch The Big Three (KD, Preakness, and Belmont), and I enjoyed Seabiscuit, but that's as close as I get to the sport. Mint juleps always sounded pretty cool, though, even if they're made with bourbon, a liquor I can't stand but really wish I enjoyed.
Anyway, the Kentucky Derby is two weeks away. If you want to bone up on Mint Juleps, here you go:
