The Week in Review: $5,000 Each!

You don't need me point out the bribe-vibe bread-and-circus antics of Trump's $5,000 promise any more than Elton John needs me to point out the gay-vibe of his wardrobe.

It's embarrassing for his (Donald's) supporters, of course, but after awhile, we kinda get used to it, like I suppose you'd get used to being nude in public if you had to do it every day. The fact that people like me still support him is a testament to the rottenness of America's Ruling Class, a group of rich scoundrels that tell us our choice every four years is limited to one of the Tate brothers, unless we want to go rogue and throw our vote away on a rational socialist or an emotional demagogue.

Given those other three options, I'm voting for the demagogue. Every time. Well, three times, at least, and so did nearly half of America. And so now we have Lake America, the Gulf of America, the Iran War, disturbing Truth Social posts, looming $5 gas, and $5,000 to help pay for the gas if we just return Trump's preferred Tate brother to Congress.

But the Democrats started this whole bribe-vibe bread-and-circus thing with FDR and escalated it with LBJ.

Now, I want to be partisan like that about as much as I want to wear the same pair of underwear for a month straight, but the Democrats have been disgustingly buying votes for nearly 100 years (the Republicans just disgustingly pandering to big corporate interests . . . though starting with the Clintons, the Democrats started doing that too).

At least FDR could make a colorable claim that he was dealing with a national emergency. LBJ? Nope. Things were going great. The Beatles were arriving and the black standard of living was rising quickly. And then he poured money into the military-industrial complex and slathered butter on the inner cities. The military-industrial complex has only gotten more powerful since that steroidal boost and the inner cities and black culture have been so ravaged by the effects of emasculated families (the Great Society incentivized families to remove the father), intelligent folks like Walter Williams think it was an intentional racist racket, designed specifically to create a permanent zombie class that will pull the lever for more big government every opportunity they get.

And now, the contagion is spreading to every American, in increments of a thousand dollars here, five thousand dollars there. Eventually, when given the choice between the two Tate brothers, the average voter makes his decision based on which one has the bigger johnson.

I was able to find it on Instagram but when I tried to post it here, something deeply disturbing happened: the link to the video morphed into a link to short reels of Sir Mix-a-Lot rear ends, but these were so grotesque, I can't imagine any man getting sprung by them. So, I'm not even going to attempt to post a link here. Surf for it yourself.
