Teens whose iPods are full of music with raunchy, sexual lyrics start having sex sooner than those who prefer other songs, a study found.
It has nothing to do with the music, of course. Kids who have sex are just more likely to listen to raunchy music. If we say otherwise, that could hurt record sales, so we'll deny it. And later, we'll call people "prudes" if they insist on thinking music influences behavior.
But note: This time, the researchers are saying the music is the cause of sexual behavior. Read the story yourself. Common sense, it seems, is emerging.
