Killing Girls

More than 10m female births in India may have been lost to abortion and sex selection in the past 20 years, according to medical research.

The result is common-sensical: there's a lopsided boy-to-girl ratio. The further result: those Indian boys aren't going to have Indian girls to marry. The yet further result: unsatisfied drives, which often results in unruly and violent behavior. Such unattached and wild men make excellent sources for the military, as China is finding out. Maybe India can be an offsetting force against the Chinese.
