Stop the Neanderthals!

The Western Isles of Scotland have voted to outlaw gay unions, notwithstanding the Eltonizing of England that started this week. The Western Isles are deeply traditional and Christian. They want to resist the secularizing forces of the 21st century. Is that okay with the gays, that there is one small enclave in Britian that won't recognize their oddness? Nope:

But the move has triggered a backlash from gay campaigners, who are threatening a human rights appeal against the council to ensure gay couples on the isles can have the same rights as those elsewhere.

Brownshirts don't compromise. It's their way or the civil rights lawsuit way.
