Finally, we're reaching the logical conclusion that will cure all our problems: Free stuff for everybody. We should've thought of this years ago. If we just give everyone everything they need free of charge, we wouldn't have to deal with a lot of government. The State would whither away and everyone would be taken care of for the communal good.

And even better: We're doing it for the kids!!! If you oppose food for kids, you're a reprobate. If you support it, you're enlightened. So that's that. End of discussion.

A new federal program is giving Florida's public schools a way out of verifying whether students qualify for free or reduced-price lunches.
The solution: expand subsidized meals to include all students whether they can afford to pay or not.
Known as the Community Eligibility Option, schools and even entire districts can now receive free breakfast and lunch if 40 percent or more of students' families are identified as low-income.
