Holding Parents Accountable
Great Britain is starting to take measures against hooligan children and to make parents more responsible. Perhaps we could do that in our inner cities. Then again, the ACLU types wouldn't approve of restraining orders on "the children."
Problem children are to be targeted under new powers being drawn up by Downing Street to tame the yob culture. A Bill, which could include [anti-social behaviour orders, a/k/a asbos] for children under the age of 10, will contain measures to clamp down on tearaway children and "nightmare neighbour" households.
The baby anti-social behaviour orders, or basbos, would impose restrictions on the behaviour of out-of-control children. Neighbours from hell could be moved to secure gated communities monitored by CCTV cameras and wardens, where they would face curfews and be stopped from terrorising communities. . .
Parents who fail to control their children or ensure they turn up to school could be forced to carry out work in the community.
