Andy Griffith, Where Are You?

Police in Williamsburg, Brooklyn ticketed a girl scout for selling cookies without a permit. Maybe the officer (presumably a member of the FOP) thought cookie-selling is a union job and he was just protecting the position from getting misappropriated by management. That theory makes more sense than the other one: that the officer actually thought he was performing a public service. We're pro-law enforcement, but this is just too much.
