Ave Maria

Will Ave Maria Law School move to Florida? The whole thing is highly disturbing. From all appearances, everything seemed to be proceeding very well for the law school in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Why the (apparent) urge to go to Florida? I honestly don't know. But I read this

Screening for Gays

Time Online has an interesting article about the RCC's efforts to screen for homosexuality. Link [http://www.time.com/time/magazine/article/0,9171,1115662,00.html]. Excerpt: > Fifty years ago, Plante's sideline--he has done roughly 175 seminary evaluations since 1988, at about $450

Historical Miniature: Papal Executioner

It's a piece by John Allen from a 2001 National Catholic Reporter, so I don't entirely trust it, and Allen draws a few conclusions that are stretched. But it's interesting: > Over the course of his 68 years on the pontifical payroll, [Giovanni] Bugatti

Blog Advertising

Blog advertising hasn't caught on big yet. There's revenue trickling in, but not at the levels people expected. But that could change, thanks to the results of a recent Audi blog advertising campaign: > GMD Studios CEO Brian Clark, whose agency does work for Audi, said,

Western Civ

This isn't a matter of religion. It's an issue of a basic education in Wesern Civilization. But for all I know, the boy may have been only six years old. > A Christian charity is sending a film on the Christmas story to all 26,000
