Scientology and Metrosexuals

Will the metrosexual archetype become an L Ron boy? I remember reading that Beckham enjoyed being a heart throb to women and homosexuals. I wonder what he thinks about Scientology's (now rarely mentioned) disapproval of gays (link [https://thedailyeudemon.com/?p=502#comments]). > Former SPICE GIRL VICTORIA

Buried Woman

How does that song go? "Let there be peace on Earth, and let it begin with me. Give me publicity, I'll get my face on T.V." > A Japanese woman buried herself in an underground pit in India for three days to try to create

Celebrity "Tapes"

A staff writer at the LA Times tries to answer the soon-to-be-age-old question: Why are we infatuated with lewd celebrity videos? His answer isn't bad, even if incomplete. Although I'm not sure, I think he's admitting at the end that

Steve Martin II

A friend sent along this page of quotes [http://imdb.com/title/tt0079367/quotes] from Steve Martin's The Jerk. In light of his honor earlier this week (link [https://thedailyeudemon.com/2808/]), I thought it worth posting. It cracked me up, if nothing else. > And that'

In case you missed it, this is my policy with regard to putting your web link on TDE: If you're a blog and you link to me, I'll link to you, unless your site is disagreeable. Just e-mail me and let me know that you&

The Bible Coming to Public Schools

My first reaction: a classic case of fatuous public school learning. But after a little reflection, I think this might be a good thing. The Bible is rich in stories and literature. Most youngsters are ignorant of it and, therefore, never have a reason to pick up the Bible and

Sex Offenders and Halloween

When I was a kid, it was rare that you'd come across a house with its lights off (signalling, "No candy here") on Halloween night. When you saw one, you'd think, "Some old woman who chopped up her husband must live there."

Homosexual Brown Shirts

Homosexuals continue to kick the civil liberties of people who disagree with them. > Poland could lose its EU voting rights if its newly elected president continues to oppose gay rights and seeks to introduce the death penalty, the European Commission warned yesterday.
