The Wednesday Eudemon

When's the last time I did a Wednesday Eudemon? It's been awhile. Long-in-the-tooth readers might remember that this blog used be called "The Wednesday Eudemon." That's because I only posted on Wednesdays. That changed about 20 months ago, and

Ragnarok Cometh Not

The MSM is back to its old self. They advertised 7:30 as the World Series start time tonight, and it didn't start until 8:26. Significantly, they started it later on Sunday night than on Saturday night. They're doing everything they can to make sure

Something for Sunday Morning

"It is impossible to immerse oneself wholly and calmly in contemplation of God, to meditate on His Law, and to ascend to Him with all one's soul in fervent prayer while remaining amidst the incessant noise of conflicting passions in the world." Seraphim of Sarov
