Lenten Blogging

I've seen this story twice in the past 24 hours: Thou Shalt Not Text During Lent [http://technologyexpert.blogspot.com/2009/03/thou-shalt-not-text-during-lent.html] . (Other Link [http://www.usatoday.com/news/religion/2009-03-04-texting-Lent_N.htm?csp=34].) I'

Ash Wednesday Miscellany

Looting Bush

I listened to a fascinating podcast at Lew Rockwell yesterday: Russ Baker on The Looting Bush Family [http://www.lewrockwell.com/podcast/?p=episode&name=2009-02-16_101_the_looting_bush_family.mp3] . Baker has written a polemic against the Bushes. The book's basic premise: the
