Not much time for blogging and the Internet has a dearth of decent blogging material. I offer merely the following:
Woman gets drunk and hurts herself. A doctor in the emergency room (with an obvious strong paternalistic streak, but within propriety, as far as I'm concerned) gave a prescription:
Sooch treated a cut on her head and then prescribed Tylenol, adding these instructions: "Do not abuse alcohol. Do not get drunk and fall causing harm to your head or body. Apologize to your family, friends and [emergency department] faculty for your extremely inappropriate behavior and rudeness while intoxicated. Be a great mother to your kids."
The insulted woman has filed a formal complaint with the City of Denver. Link.

Reminder: I'm looking for blogs that emphasize a geographic region (Southern Appeal would've been the perfect example, but it has shut down). I'm also looking for groups of blogs that coalesce around a certain region. Stella Borealis (group of Minnesota blogs) is a perfect example.
