I'd be curious where Memorial Day weekend ranks among drinking weekends. It must be in the top 10, probably top 5 after the brutal winter we've just came through.

I've talked with a lot of people who have told me that it seems like everyone is leaving the office in droves to enjoy the nice weather. My office phone and incoming client emails dropped so much these past two days, you'd think I'd just been convicted of a heinous crime or something. I don't think I've seen anything like it since the 2008 meltdown. Although I'd typically get nervous with such a drop in work, I welcome it now . . . because I, too, want to be outside enjoying the nice weather.

Anyway, for today, just these two interesting pieces:

A Cleveland Browns fan has come out with a tribute to Johnny Football: Johnny Man'z Ale. I doubt I'll try the ale, but I am really looking forward to seeing what this guy does in the NFL.

Oyster.com recently published their list of the Top Seven Beer Cities. I don't know why they stopped at seven, and a few of their picks surprise me, but here it is: Portland, Denver, San Diego (?!), Boston, Philadelphia, Austin, San Francisco.

Have a great Memorial Day weekend. As always with holidays, TDE posting will be light.
