Mises, Hayek, and Rothbard are modern parallels of Plato, Aristotle, and Cicero. I'm not saying that those three economists are philosophers. But those three 20th-century economists worked within a natural law framework to reach their economic conclusions, just as those three classical philosophers worked within the natural law to reach their metaphysical conclusions. All six also jumped from their disciplines into political philosophy . . . and used the natural law there, too.

My apologies for the abbreviated blogging. I'm in the middle of trying to get a big and confusing deal closed, plus I've had an assortment of family obligations.
