Blogging to the Next Level

In case you missed it: Three large blogs have combined to form a network called Pajamas Media. They have recruited 160 other bloggers from various regions, as well. The result? This blog network will have reporters in the field far quicker than the average newspaper. Link. Excerpt:

Pajamas Media wants to put a camcorder and a laptop computer in the hands of every one of its network affiliates so they can continue -- and refine -- their trump card, immediacy. He recently told the New York Sun, "Our affiliates will have a physical proximity, language and cultural knowledge" that traditional media may lack.

The blogging phenomenon keeps thriving. From Arianna Huffington's pretentious blog to networks. The morphing fascinates us. Pretty soon, there'll be a blog network of writers that combine posts about religion and cultural events with musings on drinking, history, and literature. To the best of our knowledge, there's only one at this point (if anyone knows of others besides TDE, we'd love to hear about them), but with 40,000 new blogs coming on-line every day, we're bound to have company soon.
