Great, the *NYT* will increase its coverage of religion in America. It'll probably be divided into three genres: mocking, misrepresenting, and muddled.

In order to write about religion, it helps to *have* religion. We don't see it at *NYT*. Maybe they'll hire some new writers.

Hey, Andrew Sullivan's available! He understands Catholicism (well, kinda) and he's gay. We gotta believe the *NYT's* new-wave editors would love to get him on the religion board.
