This Guy Will be Getting Goosed

A man is walking across a park. A goose hisses at him. He gets startled, slips in the mud, jumps up and starts attacking the geese. The result? One adult goose is killed, and five goslings are stomped to death. And the man is jailed. Link.

We can relate. On Sunday, Eric Scheske took the family to South Bend for a trip to the zoo and to walk around Notre Dame's campus. While walking around N.D.'s little lake, a goose hissed at them. Eric's kids thought it was funny and threw its goslings some crackers. That seemed to settle things down just fine, but the kicking and stomping probably would've worked, too.

Side note: Adult geese can be pretty aggressive. Eric was once tempted to beat some geese with a rake when a small flock started threatening two of his little children. But stomping the goslings?
