Holy Water at Wrigley

In an article about odd baseball remedies, we ran across this:

Dusty Baker doused Prior's inflamed right elbow with holy water, blessed by Pope John Paul II. Certainly, something was working for Prior as he made his delayed season debut with a dominating win over the Padres.
"There's something to it," said Baker, who isn't even Catholic. He added, "I just hope that my sinning doesn't negate the effectiveness of the water."
