Red States Have More Children
Population projections from the U.S. Census Bureau show that the eight fastest growing states are "red states" and that blue states are shrinking fast. This, no doubt, will have an adverse effect on blue states' political clout, especially in New England. LINK.
Of course, if the red states pick up population due to re-locations from blue states, the new votes might bring their leftward ways with them and sway the states to the blue. This phenomenon was probably responsible for making the 2004 presidential race in North Carolina closer than anyone expected.
But if red states gain more clout because they're simply having more children, it doesn't look good for the blue staters.
We've said for years that the demographics eventually must favor pro-life and social conservatives. Most children will adopt their parents' political leanings (the rebellious stereotype of offspring is simply wrong), especially in religious households that properly inculcate their children with fundamentals, like the Ten Commandments.
Keep the faith and don't give up hope. The social conservative tide is rising. We just need to tend to our families and resist the current tide from the other direction.
