Weekend Postings

Postings often become a little more cerebral on the weekends, mostly because current news items worth posting slow down, thus requiring us to find other material, but also because we welcome the opportunity to offer different fare. Blog readership drops by about 30% Friday through Sunday, so if we're boring (i.e., if we start to kill the blog) on the weekends, hopefully a lot of people won't notice and they'll come back Monday morning.

We hasten to add, however, that occasionally we offer weekend postings that are lighter than what we post during the week. When that happens, you can assume Eric Scheske has gotten into the beer.
