Tax Breaks

A tax fact you won't see anywhere else on Tax Day 2005: A married couple filing jointly that has seven minor children can reasonably expect to be able to earn $90,000.00 without owing any federal income tax. There could, however, be a small alternative minimum tax owed. (Don't ask what prompted Eric to figure that one out; special thanks to Mel Scheske, CPA, for his help.)
