*The Boston Globe* has a decent article about Nebraska's conservative Catholicism. The lead picture is something that could've been in the religion bashing of *Midnight Cowboy*, but the text of the article is pretty good, including this quote: "'Some people call us old-fashioned,' Davis added, 'but there's a vibrancy to the church here. It's alive. It's vital.'" Part of this quote actually made it into the picture caption.
