Profitable Host

Someone has sold the host on e-Bay for $2,000. LINK. For some people, the pursuit of money knows no bounds. Here, the person apparently acquired the host under the false pretense of being a Catholic and is now selling it (actually, the seller obtained two hosts, having gone back for seconds at the Papal Mass). Whatta piece of work.

Eric Scheske's Wednesday column at Catholic Exchange deals with the failure in our culture to subrogate the pursuit of money to other goods. This would be another example.
