A neighbor says he wasn't bowled over when he heard: [Authorities are considering charges in the bizarre case of a woman who sat on her boyfriend's toilet for two years – so long that her body was stuck to the seat by the time the boyfriend finally called police. . . . He told investigators he brought his girlfriend food and water, and asked her every day to come out of the bathroom.](http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20080312/ap%5Fon%5Fre%5Fus/woman%5Fin%5Fbathroom%5F5?ref=thedailyeudemon.com) No word on whether they had relations during those 24 months.

My highly-tuned antennae for such things tells me there's a very sad story behind this.

[Homosexual activists plan to throw ashes on the Pope when he comes here](http://insightscoop.typepad.com/2004/2008/03/catholic-homose.html?ref=thedailyeudemon.com). Classy move, indeed.

The story is from Ignatius Insight. The article also recommends three Ignatius books about homosexuality. Based on one incident, I'm pretty sure Ignatius Press sells/rents its mailing lists. Do I really want to be on Ignatius' records as someone interested in this topic?

(Aside: I have more Ignatius Press books than I can count, and I don't fault it for raising money by selling/renting its mailing lists. I just found this possibility humorous.)

It's my birthday, so I'm going to stop there and give myself a little break ("Hey Scheske, this post was no more empty than your normal palaver!"). I'll be back tomorrow with beer and drink observations.
