[Ten unexpected uses for beer](http://www.gomestic.com/Homeowners/10-Unexpected-Uses-for-Beer.61788?ref=thedailyeudemon.com). The list is a bit disturbing and irreverent of the beer gods, but it's interesting. Don't use real beer for any of these things. I recommend Budweiser.

I don't know how I missed [this one from last week](http://www.ireland.com/newspaper/breaking/2007/1129/breaking41.htm?ref=thedailyeudemon.com):

Wow, 270 kegs of beer and 180 kegs of Budweiser. Look for a truck in a ditch about 20 miles away.

I assume "fire water" applies only to distilled spirits.

Perfect beer news for a Catholic blog: [St. Mary The Virgin Church in Potterne, near Devizes is celebrating a 750th birthday in style.
