# Hunker Down and Prepare for Battle

This is my weekend of fighting with the devil: Marie leaves first thing this morning and won't come home until late Sunday afternoon. She's inaccessible, except by a spotty cellphone that she normally can't hear. I have The Seven . . . and their functions: marching band at the football game Friday night, two rocket football games, one soccer game, a pet blessing at church. My two oldest leave Saturday afternoon, leaving me with virtually no back-up. Check back frequently this weekend, in case I need somebody to go my bail after I fly berserk.
