# Wisconsin Governor Submits State to Vatican!

The Wisconsin governor ordered flags flown at half-mast this week. The result? The separation-of-church-and-staters are upset: "The gesture 'appears like an endorsement of Roman Catholicism over other religious viewpoints,' said Annie Laurie Gaylor, co-president of the Freedom From Religion Foundation. Hey, she's right. If the civil libertarians let this one slide, the next thing you know, everyone in Wisconsin will be required to fulfill the Sunday Mass obligation and all the men will be forced to have their vasectomies undone. There'll be pregnant women all over the place, and that's not good for the Lake Michigan beaches.
