The rain won't stop and we're supposed to get more. I'm not sure I've ever seen anything like this in southwest Michigan. It stopped yesterday from about 6:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., which is ironic since the high school postponed last night's football game until tonight. They postponed it (seven hours before kickoff) because the doppler said we'd get hit with more thunderstorms. It struck me as a little impetuous, especially since weather in Michigan is about as predictable as a pit bull on whiskey, and now it turns out that last night may have been the only time this weekend we could've played. We're supposed to have thunderstorms into the afternoon. After that, clearing. I'm hoping the humidity lifts a little, too, after this is finally over. With a little luck, the weather might be splendid for a football game tonight.
I have little else to write about. The news is lame, unless you're into "Young Guy with Suddenly-Found Wealth Screws Up Again" stories (this time, Michael Vick).
