# No Eudemon

Worked 7:30 to 8:30 yesterday. Today promises another 12-14 hours. No time for anything, including blogging. I did see today is the memorial of St. Anthony Padua. Realizing I know little about him, I looked him up in the *Penguin Dictionary of Saints*. I found this interesting:

> The statues of St. Antony that are so often seen, showing him as a rather 'soft' looking young man, carrying the child Jesus and a lily, do not do him justice. He was strong and fearless, merciless towards oppressors of the defenseless and towards ill-living clergy, and was called in his lifetime a 'hammer of heretics.'
