[A couple of items from the current issue of *The Atlantic*.](http://www.theatlantic.com/doc/200707/primarysources/2?ref=thedailyeudemon.com) It's a triumvirate of unsurprising information, but interesting nonetheless because it confirms things I would've assumed:
