My gall bladder comes out shortly. A most abbreviated post this morning:
Polar bear cub (one of the cutest animals I've ever seen, and I'm not a big fan of using the word "cute") will die unless humans take care of him. Animal rights activists say he's better dead than raised by humans. They want him lethally injected. These folks simply aren't on the same page with the rest of the human race, primarily for the simple reason that they loathe the human race.
This story caught my eye:
Calls are growing in Poland for a ban on 'men in skirts' because drunken Scottish flashers have been upsetting locals.
I was thinkin' "Since when did Poland acquire a Scottish problem?" The story later answered that question: "Poland has become a major destination for UK tourists mainly attracted by the cheap beer."
Man, I'm often reluctant to drive to Indiana to get cheaper beer and the state line is only two miles from my house. The Scots may have become a derelict culture, but ya gotta marvel at their dedication.
