A father is selling videotapes of his serial killer son's confession. LINK. Who cares about making money off what should be great shame (the contestants on Fear Factor don't)? Thankfully, some people, for now at least, care about someone making money from another's misery (the victims' families), and they think a law needs to be passed to prohibit such things.

If our culture didn't obsess so much about money in the first place, that kind of law wouldn't be necessary.
