The Left, including Pope Francis, thinks savings and success are entirely or mostly the result of privilege and structural inequities, so it feels justified taking away the resulting wealth and giving it to those who weren't so privileged or to those on the wrong side of the inequities.

The problem is, the Left is simply wrong about that, but it won't realize it until the “privileged” get tired of being chumps and stop working and enterprising. Then the wealth for the entire country will dry up for everyone. Â
