Kuehnelt-Leddin

There are thinkers who are so far to the left or right, they fall off the spectrum altogether. On the left, I put thinkers like Ralph Nader and Ivan Illich.

On the right, I put a thinker named **[Eric von Kuehnelt-Leddin](https://amzn.to/3kBkptK?ref=thedailyeudemon.com)**, a man described as a “Walking Book of Knowledge,” who could read 25 languages. The godfather of modern conservatism, William F. Buckley, described him as “the world's most fascinating man.”

A man isn't fascinating if he's a mere foot soldier in the Republican Party. A man isn't fascinating if he just repeats his political tribe's current agenda talking points.

A man is fascinating if he's a conservative arch-liberal. Which is how von Kuehnelt-Leddin described himself.
