And we thought FDU's only problem was getting the sixteenth seed every year in the NCAA Basketball Tournament:
“Fairleigh Dickinson University last week dismissed an adjunct professor who is a leader of the National Socialist Movement of the United States, also known as the American Nazi Party.” LINK.
The official word is that the Western Civilization teacher was dismissed for missing too many classes. In this age of anything-goes tolerance, you don't want to dismiss someone for being a Nazi. (It's not a First Amendement issue, since FDU is a private institution; we're not sure of any legal implications under New Jersey law.)
