Conservatives on the Gay Left
As Kansas prepares to vote tomorrow on a constitutional ban on gay marriages, one lesbian comments about the proposal, "The consequences of this are totally unknown," said Sandra Kobets, a 55-year-old Prairie Village nurse with a female partner of nearly 11 years. "Nobody has any idea where this could go." LINK
Exactly. That's been our position since the whole gay marriage debate erupted. The country doesn't need any more social experimentation from the Left.
And as long as we're on the topic, we do have an idea of where gay marriage could go: to the further deterioration of the family; deterioration brought about by serially-polygamous heterosexuals, to be sure, but one that doesn't need to be furthered in the name of gay rights.
