Snoop Dogg Teaches the Meaning of Respect

MTV has caused an uproar with a cartoon that shows Snoop Dogg leading two women around on a leash. (NY Post Link). Excerpt:

"Seinfeld"'s Jason Alexander voices Snoopathon Esquire III, who struts out of his Caddy with Parkay and Marjorie, two bikini-clad black women wearing dog collars and leashes.
The rap star orders one to "hand me my latte" as she squats on all fours and scratches herself like a canine.
At the end of the scene, Snoop dons a plastic glove and picks up his enslaved ladies' defecation.
"This only serves to reinforce negative images of women, conveying to kids on a Saturday afternoon that all women are bitches and hos," said Paul Porter, founder of IndustryEars.com, a watchdog group.

They're offended at that? What about the portrayal of women as penis fodder in every music video and spring break special?

This is like tacitly approving while a man gets stone-cold drunk, then objecting when he fails to control his bladder. The tavern's onlookers should've objected earlier, back when the drinker could no longer speak English or crawl straight. Likewise, these MTV critics are objecting about 20 years too late. Snoop Dogg is merely taking those thousands of bikini-laden videos to their logical conclusion.
