Inside Higher Stalls
Inside Higher Ed has a 1,400-word views piece about whether college students should be able to leave the room to use the bathroom. We know about the “publish or perish” problem among professors, but this? Then again, it appears to be a fiery topic: dozens of academics weighed-in during the subsequent on-line discussion. LINK Perhaps it'll all lead to something positive, like closed-circuit monitors in the stalls so students won't miss anything. And if you think that's a ridiculous possibility, you haven't been reading about the outlandish spending taking place at universities these days.
