Inside Higher Stalls  
  
*Inside Higher Ed* has a 1,400-word views piece about whether college students should be able to leave the room to use the bathroom. We know about the “publish or perish” problem among professors, but this? Then again, it appears to be a fiery topic: dozens of academics weighed-in during the subsequent on-line discussion. [LINK](http://www.insidehighered.com/views/2005/03/04/caesar3?ref=thedailyeudemon.com) Perhaps it'll all lead to something positive, like closed-circuit monitors in the stalls so students won't miss anything. And if you think that's a ridiculous possibility, you haven't been reading about the outlandish spending taking place at universities these days.
