Alcohol in Ancient Rome

One of my new favorite web sites (World History Blog) reviews an article at one of my oldest favorite sites: Modern Drunkard Magazine. The topic: Drunkus Maximus: The Power and Purpose of Alcohol in Ancient Rome. Interesting (albeit off-color) stuff, especially if you like history and drinking (my two majors in college). There's a bogus statement about Constantine (essentially, that he forced people to convert to Christianity), but don't let that stop you from reading it.
