Miscellaneous Rambling
I released the first TWE bonus episode yesterday: Gnosticism. It's all five segments that I did on Gnosticism, combined into one episode. I'll probably produce more bonus episodes using a similar approach (gathering similar subjects into one podcast), depending on how well this one is received. You can download it here.
The idiocy. The absolute idiocy: Charlize Theron is raising her seven-year-old boy as a girl. "'Yes, I thought she was a boy, too. Until she looked at me when she was three years old and said, 'I am not a boy!'" Theron told the Daily Mail." Link. Seven. Freakin' seven. The mind boggles. It's child abuse . . . but the other side of the aisle says that any other response than Theron's would be abuse. All hope of rational discourse is dead. It's a post-modern thing: all empirical evidence (like, say, the existence of a penis signalling male gender) or rationality is rejected in favor of an uncompromising subjectivism. Social justice warriors (the applied branch of postmodernism) then sacrifice their own children for the sake of the narrative.
I watched this kid twice last week: 'Jeopardy' winner James Holzhauer is likely shaking up the game show's budget. He's a machine. Unbelievable to watch.
