Miscellaneous Rambling

Feast Day of Gregory the Great today. I've read very little, if any, of his works. It's definitely a lacuna in my learning. According to his Wikipedia, pretty much everyone recognizes him as a saint: the Orthodox, Anglicans, even some Lutherans.

A client was describing his troubles finding marijuana for his bad back. His medical marijuana card expired and he's in a pinch now. He said, "My son's friend has a medical marijuana card, but he gave it up Lent." That really cracked me up.
