Brews You Can Use
This is interesting: A massive malted barley facility is moving to an area 40 minutes east of me. Maybe I should get into the barley-growing business. Unfortunately, I don't have the space, but I am still mulling over the possibility of growing hops. I think I might be missing the boat there.
Seven remote Irish pubs. Link. I honestly don't know why Cambodia and Mongolia and other remote areas have Irish pubs, but I found it interesting. And the pictures accompanying each of the blurbs are really pretty.
I didn't know Target was such a party destination: A Stafford woman was charged with DUI after officials say she drank a box of wine while at Target. We shouldn't be too hard on her. Maybe she was mustering up courage to use the changing rooms, not knowing what gender she'd encounter in there.
Strawberry Lemonade Natural Light. Link. Gosh. I couldn't even imagine drinking one of those . . . much less the twelve I probably would've downed during my Natty Light phase when I wore a younger man's clothes.
My college-aged sons ask me about cheap beers, and I normally respond, "Ah, yes, I remember going through a X phase." After awhile, I realized I went through a lot of cheap beer phases: Little Kings, Red Dog, Red White and Blue, Blatz, PBR, Old Milwaukee, Old Milwaukee Light, Stroh's, Old Style. I'm sure there are many, many others. Each brand makes me smirk a bit with (blurred) memories.
