A few suggestions rolled in during the last ten hours in response to my previous post. A few of the emails:
Computer talk show host Kim Komando recommends OpenOffice. so I gave it a try; it's free (you don't even have to register), and it's not Microsoft. Anyone familiar with MS Office will
know how to use the various components of OpenOffice. Try this link: www.openoffice.org
My comment: I haven't tried it yet, but I will. I'm acquainted with Komando, and she has a good reputation for no-nonsense advice. In addition, two readers of this blog have recommended it.
I agree with your assessment of Microsoft and Gates, et al. It is even worse when Melinda Gates is Catholic and had their kiddo baptised in a Catholic Church.
My comment: I doubt the Gates ever thought they'd be considered cafeteria anything. Welcome, Melinda, to the intellectual muck that is cafeteria Catholicism.
Here are a few [organizations against eugenics]:

My comment: Ah yes, Human Life International. My brain hasn't yet wholly revved up after my vacation. The other two are new to me.
