Protesting Bud

I'm the "ugly American" when it comes to the World Cup. My interest is piqued a little, but overall, I'd rather watch Arena Bowl 2006 (which I watched for ten minutes). I found it humorous, though, that Budweister is the official sponsor, and the Europeans are annoyed. Excerpt:

There has been a wider resentment in Germany that a US brewery has the exclusive rights in a country which prides itself on the quality of its beer and has very strict laws governing its composition.

I like the implication in "which prides itself on the quality of its beer." If it's Bud, it ain't quality.
