The Weekend Eudemon

Another short one, blogging from the office on Saturday morning again. I think I'll change the name of this blog to "The Broken Record": blogging will be light, I'm busy at the office, my genitals are in a clamp and I can't move. I don't have much to report, unless you want information about limited liability companies and a lender/supplier's rights in bankruptcies. I will, however, offer these two tokens of my appreciation for your patience:

1. I just read about software that will allow users to run semantic searches of their email base and computer files. It's called "X1." It costs $74.95 and sounds slick. There's also a free version by Yahoo! (at desktop.yahoo.com). I've tried neither, so if they crash your system and blow a hole in your ceiling, don't blame me.

2. A few funny signs. Too bad we don't know, due to Photoshop and other enhancing software, whether they're real (the irony of computers: they let us pass such things along, but they also dilute the potential enjoyment):
