Re: Boston. Miscellaneous things related to my trip to Boston. Mistake correction: All of my sons except Alex went to Southie. Alex was home sick.

Dostoyevsky: I draw a parallel between *A Writer's Diary* and TWE . . . or rather, a non-parallel.

Orwell: A tip to avoid hackneyed writing.

NFL: I don't like it.
