FBI Sting

A rather clever FBI pedophilia sting, described at The Smoking Gun. Disgusting stuff, but I tip my hat to the clever G-men. It's not too often I tip my hat in that direction.

You want me to describe the sting? I really don't want to, but it revolves around a fake website for "Wicked Adventures Travel" and an opportunity to sign up for a sex trip to the Orient. That's it in a nutshell, and it apparently snagged quite a few perverts.

Some civil libertarian will, of course, complain that the perverts were entrapped, but it's not entrapment. Only a criminal pervert would sign up for a trip like this. A sting program isn't entrapment unless it prompts a person to do a criminal act that he wouldn't normally undertake. That, anyway, is my nutshell understanding.
