I could've slept a lot longer. I'm not tired, but it's perfect sleeping weather: mid-50's, breezy, with a splattering of rain. Lots of good dreams, too, the kind that don't involve my wife being pregnant with our eighth child.
I guess Chris got knocked off American Idol last night (I opted for early sleep instead of viewing). It's kind of surprising. He was clearly the show's chosen one in the earlier rounds, and the show's handlers were gearing him to win. But something happened. I think he started to take himself too seriously. Instead of being content with singing and performing well, it seems like he started fancying himself as a sublime artist and started doing risky things. It certainly turned off Simon and apparently the rest of America.
My apologies for the dearth of posts yesterday. I've had an array of work and family commitments that have kept me from the computer. That should change today.
